Breather installation — fresh air without drafts

For a comfortable microclimate in an apartment or house, it is important that the air is regularly updated. According to sanitary standards, air exchange in living rooms should take place at least once an hour. This maintains oxygen levels, removes excess moisture, odors and carbon dioxide, creating a healthy atmosphere for sleeping and relaxing.

Why proper air exchange is important

Natural ventilation through cracks or open windows no longer ensures sufficient air exchange, especially in modern airtight buildings with plastic windows. This causes stuffiness, condensation and mold. Breather solves this problem: it brings fresh air from the street, purifies it and makes the inflow controlled.

At the same time, some of the heat does escape through the hood in the kitchen or bathroom, but the losses become predictable and manageable, and not chaotic, as when ventilating through windows. This helps maintain a comfortable temperature and reduce heating costs.

How does the breeze work

Breather is a compact intake ventilation system that automatically supplies air from the street, filters it from dust, allergens and exhausts, and heats it up if necessary. The air goes through several purification stages, including HEPA and carbon filters, and enters the room clean and warm.

Modern models are equipped Wi-Fi-controlled — via a smartphone, you can adjust the feed rate, temperature and operating modes, as well as monitor the status of the filters. Some devices are additionally equipped CO₂ sensors, which measure the concentration of carbon dioxide and automatically increase fresh air intake when CO₂ levels increase.

Thanks to this, the breeze maintains an optimal air balance without human intervention — the device works quietly and stably, creating comfortable conditions at any time of the day.

Installation steps and operating principle

The breather is installed without large-scale construction work. A hole with a diameter of about 150—200 mm is drilled on the outer wall, into which an air duct and an external grille are installed. Then the breather body is attached from the inside, connected to the power supply and is tested for tightness and noise levels.

The whole procedure takes about three hours. After installation, the system is immediately ready for use and begins to supply fresh air to the room, maintaining constant air exchange.

Controlled heat losses and energy efficiency

Unlike open windows, through which up to 30% of heat is lost, the breeze exchanges air manageable. The air is heated by a built-in heater or recuperator, and the room temperature remains stable. Even with a constant supply of fresh air, drafts and cold zones do not occur.

Wi-Fi control and CO₂ sensors

Wi-Fi modules allow you to connect the breeze to a mobile application: the user can change settings, turn on timers, monitor the status of filters and receive notifications about pollution.

CO₂ sensors make the system “smart”: the breezer independently regulates the volume of air supply, maintaining a healthy oxygen concentration. This is especially useful at night when the windows are closed and ventilation is naturally reduced.

A modern solution for home and office

Breather is a reliable way to provide clean and fresh air without heat loss and drafts. It creates a comfortable environment, reduces humidity and carbon dioxide levels, and prevents mold and stuffiness.

This solution is especially relevant for apartments, offices and private houses in Tbilisi, where it is important to combine energy efficiency and air quality. Installing a Wi-Fi-controlled breather with CO₂ sensors is a step towards a modern, smart and healthy space.

Filter replacement and maintenance

For stable operation of the breather, it is sufficient to change the filters about once or twice a year. This is a simple operation that does not require calling a master. Timely replacement of filters ensures clean air and extends the life of the equipment.

Noise level and comfort

Modern breathers operate almost silently — the noise level usually does not exceed 25-30 dB, which is comparable to a whisper. Thanks to this, the device can be left on around the clock, even in the bedroom.
